The Outlander Sport fits in the compact SUV market segment. It offers drivers a practical commuter vehicle with excellent outward visibility and a raised driving position for a good view of the road. The base engine for the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine with 148 horsepower. It works with Mitsubishi’s CVT and comes with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional. The GT gets a 2.4-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 168 horsepower and comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a plug-in hybrid crossover SUV with six operational modes that include EV, S-AWD Eco, Gravel, Snow, Normal, and a new Sport mode. The 2021 model has a few updates, including a larger 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and more powerful electric motors. Mitsubishi also upgraded the lithium-ion battery to a 13.8-kWh pack to help increase the electric driving range to 24 miles.
The Outlander PHEV comes in the SEL, LE, and GT trim levels with standard features, such as LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, and power-folding and heated side door mirrors. The 2022 Eclipse Cross is a compact SUV with a sporty style. This updated Mitsubishi gets power from a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder gas engine that generates 152 horsepower and works with a CVT. Mitsubishi tuned the suspension for comfort, and it stays composed and comfortable even over rough roads.
The 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross cabin has an upscale look and feel with high-quality materials and durable fabric.
