Should you ever need it, you have access to 24-hour emergency Roadside Assistance for five full years (3 years/36,000 miles for Mitsubishi i-MiEV), regardless of mileage.*
Your covered services include the following:
In the event your vehicle is disabled due to a warrantable condition, and you are more than 150 miles from home and the vehicle has to be kept overnight for repairs, Mitsubishi’s Roadside Assistance Plan will reimburse for reasonable documented expenses for meals, lodging and transportation up to $175.00 per day for a maximum of three days. To be eligible for this benefit, you must obtain prior authorization from the Roadside Assistance Provider.
We will arrange to make or change your reservations in case of delay associated with a roadside breakdown. At your request, we will notify your family members or colleagues to inform them of a delay, call a business associate to cancel a meeting or take care of any other necessary details to help ease any inconvenience. If needed, overnight accommodations can be arranged at a hotel or motel, or existing reservations can be changed as needed due to delays.
We will assist you in finding telephone numbers of tourist bureaus nationwide, and we will transfer you to the bureau in the area of your choice to receive a wide range of information regarding that area.
We will also locate the nearest ATM using your specific network system (Star, Plus, Cirrus, etc.), according to the area code and prefix from which you call.
When you buy a new Mitsubishi, you will drive with the peace of mind that comes with Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance. In the event of a breakdown, the Roadside Assistance Program at Mitsubishi provides a range of helpful benefits for you and anyone in your family who drives or rides in your new Mitsubishi. A simple toll-free call to Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance at 1-888-648-7820 and you will receive prompt help for whatever problem you are experiencing. In this guide we’ll give a rundown of what the program Roadside Assistance provides.
The Roadside Assistance program comes free with the purchase of every new Mitsubishi and provides roadside protection 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for five years. The program stays in effect no matter how many miles you drive during the five years. The Roadside Assistance program’s one exception is for the Mitsubishi i-MiEV vehicles, which are covered for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The Roadside Assistance program offers towing, jump starts, flat-tire repairs, emergency fuel, and fluid delivery, lockout assistance, and other support for on-the-road breakdowns. In the event of an accident, Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance provides towing as allowed under the law, where there is no police report filed due to additional property damage or personal injury.
Whether you have a dead battery, run out of fuel, get a flat tire, lock your keys in the car, or need some type of minor roadside repair, Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance will be there for you.
Many auto manufacturers bundle roadside assistance with purchases of new cars. The Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance Program outdoes them all by offering coverage across unlimited miles for the program’s five years. Programs such as those from Ford, Mazda, Subaru and others expire after three years.
Car trouble never happens at a convenient time. Some times are worse than others, however — such as if you are miles from home on a family vacation or traveling for your job. Then a breakdown really hurts since it may incur other costs, such as overnight lodging.
Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance may reimburse you for certain expenses if you have a breakdown when you are more than 150 miles from home. The reason for the breakdown must be a condition covered under the warranty, and the repairs must extend at least into the next business day.
Should this happen, obtain prior authorization for reimbursement from the roadside assistance provider. The program covers reasonable expenses for meals, lodging, and transportation up to $175 per day for a maximum of three days. Save your receipts and document your expenses carefully. Think of this as trip interruption insurance should you ever need it.
You are never alone when you are a member of Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance. If you have a breakdown that may cause difficulties with your trip, lean on the roadside assistance team to step up and help with some of the problems the breakdown may cause. We will contact family members, business associates, or anyone else who needs to know of your delay and help you rebook airfare and hotels. The program can also point you to local resources as well as nearby ATMS.
You can use the Mitsubishi Road Assist+ app to ask for services under the program any day of the year. The app provides many other useful benefits that include:
